[ Those are the texts he chooses to answer while he arrives back at the cabin. We're finagling time a little bit. So he gets back a few minutes before Lin Lie can even get there and starts the chicken and veggies in the crockpot. He's definitely put on the 'kiss the witch' apron he has on as he does a bit of the work and puts Lin Lie's chocolate chip cookies on the table in the living room. The cabin isn't necessarily spacious, but it's comfortable and nice. Two decent sized bedrooms, a large living room with a reading nook, a kitchen and pantry.
And the view outside is, of course, partly woods and partly lake due to the small one that the house's back door opens out to on a tiny, old pier. The only other house on the lake is across the way, barely visible from trees. It's genuinely quiet and peaceful. ]
[ When he hears the sound of Lin Lie at the door, he's happy to abandon the crockpot - now ready to simmer for a few hours and open it - smile ease as he turns his attention over his boyfriend's form for a moment before reaching out to pull him in for a hug all the same. ]

[ Lin Lie actually has to dress up again, then go to ask Mei Min to open a portal in the new location. She playfully teases him about eloping with his boyfriend at the first opportunity, but she also promises to have his back if any crisis arises, and he knows he's really lucky to have her as a friend.
The view that greets him is breathtaking, and it chases away any (fake) worries he must have had about the cabin. It does not look spooky at all but actually pretty gorgeous with the falling sun casting it in a warm light and the glittery lake next to it.
And talking about breathtaking views, when Billy greets him by the door, he immediately notices the apron, but before he can do as suggested, Billy's got his arms around him. Grinning, Lin Lie hugs him back...and then lifts him from the ground to give the man a spin before putting him back on the ground. ]
I'm happy to see you too. [ He laughs at the booing and then leans in to kiss Billy's cheek. ] Think of this as a present you get to unwrap or something. Ey the house smell great already. Can I help you with anything?

[ He laughs when Lin Lie picks him up and squeezes him tighter - Despite being the taller one it's a gesture he likes and when he's back on the ground he's grinning brightly even if his nose wrinkles. ]

[ He teases and then pauses like he has to think about it. He doesn't, because like most soups the one cooking needs very little mork on it for at least an hour or two so instead he tilts his head. ]
Can you help with anything? [ Considering before he shifts his hands upwards to cup Lin Lie's face and shifts forward. ] Yeah, I think I have something you can help with.
[ And then he's kissing him, long and deep but with no lack of affection right there in the doorway. ]

And he's shorter but mighty! He can lift and carry around Billy as if he weighs nothing, and if that's going to make him laugh, then it's very worth it. ]
Oh no, I still feel very unwell and in need of some care. [ Lin Lie playfully tugs at the apron, giving his boyfriend a small pout and big puppy eyes. ] Love the fit, by the way.
[ Crowding into Billy's space, ready to give him a kiss on the cheek as per the apron's order, only to have Billy beat him to it. Lin Lie lets out a surprised, happy sound against Billy's lips and lets his eyes fall shut as the kiss deepens. When they break apart to breathe, he buries his face in the crook of Billy's neck, grinning. ]
I'm starting to feel all flushed again. Maybe I have a fever. Are you sure you want to risk catching anything from me?' This might be contagious.
