Goddess, that sounds hard to deal with. And no, no clones. Demons, the occasional god or dragon ...that sort of stuff I have more experience with.

Wow, you really had an eventful life. And I believe you; time travel probably can't ever lead to anything good. Have things calmed down now?

I mean, as much as they can. Seeing things you're not supposed to know sort of messes with you. Makes you think you can prevent it or SHOULD prevent it. But then you go into the whole line of thinking with whether or not it's inevitable, but if it is, then was you seeing whatever it is also inevitable or an accident? It becomes a whole what came first the chicken or the egg kind of thing.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Knowing more than we should really leads to awful situations. I'm sorry that you had to go troughs that. I'm sure I would have been just as torn about how to act or if I had to do it at all.

In the end we just want to do what's best for everyone but sometimes there's simply not a good outcome.

And besides, we don't have to do everything alone. There's strength in numbers, in more than one way.

That's a clever one.

I mean, that would work on me because of the aforementioned nerdiness. I'd find that silly and charming. I'm not sure if me saying that to someone would have the same effect.

Considering your powers, you could tell people you're about to sweep them off their feet. And then take them flying somewhere.

Not in the way you’d think. Or if they are, I can’t say that I’ve noticed.

Oh. Don't worry too much about it, there's still time to change that.

Or so people tells me, I'm single as well. I'm usually too busy to think about anything but my duty. Not like it wouldn't be nice to be closer to someone.

It is nice. Having that. Someone who just gets it. Or at least as much as anyone not strictly human can.

( but then jay went and broke up with him because he wouldn’t do what his boyfriend wanted. it’s more complicated than that. but to say he no longer believes in superman… that hurt. )

It is. And I have plenty of non-human friends, actually, and they deserve to be appreciated all the same. One of my best friends is a spirit fox, and she's one of the bravest and kindest people I've met. She can also kick my ass to kingdom come.

What I'm trying to say is that those who matter will understand that our differences are not unsalvageable.

Yeah I’ve got one of those two. Although he likes to think he could but I mean. He’s pretty stubborn and resourceful.

But yeah. I get it. Also good to have them in our lives.

Good that you have him. And I know you're indestructible, but stubborn people really can be something else, man. Better not to underestimate them.

Pei is like that; she's not even 15 yet. She could take on the world if she put her mind to it.
